Reunion..... |

On the 26th of November 2006 we have been able to organise a reunion of our litter that has been born on the 25th of November 2005 . Because the puppies had turned one year we wanted to celebrate this with a reunion. The puppie owners had already told us that they would love to do this so that they would be able to compare the other puppies and owners of the total litter. We as breeder were of course also pretty curios how the puppies had turned out to be and what we could expect of “our puppies” and their new family. We had planned a walk through the woods of Ulvenhout a village nearby. We had made the plan to gather on a parking place nearby a restaurant named “auberge de fazanterie” so we would be able to drink something first. Unfortunately we had to change our planes because this restaurant suddenly planed to reconstruct the whole place. We were able to take some coffee and thee with us so we could serve everyone of a drink on the parking place while waiting for the others to arrive. We were fortuned enough to welcome 4 of the 6 puppies to this reunion. At first the meeting on the parking place was a bit uncertain for everyone and all the dogs. Nobody new what they were able to expect to see or about the others during this meeting. At 11:30 we were able to start the walk of about 1,5 hours. Thanks to the weather gods we were able to enjoy good sunny weather. Earlier that week it had been raining a lot in Holland and we were able to see that in some parts in the woods. Though halfway the walk the first jackets came of and everybody enjoyed the walk, the behaviour of the dogs. Each dog new how to behave itself, only mother did not want to know too much of her puppies. It was as if Mother Nature told mom to send her pups away so that they could explore the world for themselves. We gathered again at the parking place and everybody wanted to be able to sit down and enjoy a drink with something to eat. We were able to organise this in a café nearby in the village Ulvenhout. There was a café named “the Harmonie” that made it possible for us and the dogs to take a seat and to drink and eat something together. We were welcomed with a piece of pie because the dogs had just turned one year old and everybody enjoyed it. Around 15:00 hours the reunion had came to an end and it was time for everybody to go back home and to keep this day in memory. We want to thank everybody that was able to come to this day and also the ones who had made it possible for us to arrange. Together with the parents of the puppies we have enjoyed this day very much.
